Outside Plant Technician

FMTC is seeking one (1) Outside Plant Technician to join our team.

As an Outside Plant Technician for FMTC, you will be responsible for assisting the Outside Plant Leader in maintenance and delivery of services in our network. This individual will have the knowledge to maintain and document buried main cable and drop cable. They will communicate with all departments to help assure the outside plant is kept up. This person will build, repair, test and document all distribution network changes from main fiber to drops. The Outside Plant Technician will be responsible for fiber counts and cutover sheets as they pertain to new customers and interconnects. This individual, along with Outside Plant Leader, will work closely with Outside Plant Engineer on maps and as built drawings.
